They Celtics doubled/tripled Kobe and he made the right decision giving it to Pau.

Ugh...the lesser of two evils lost.

Oh well, knowing the Lakers they probably blew all their load in this game (hopefully).

HO HO HO! Gasol kicked butts!

Odom bulldozed KG to the floor close to the end of 3rd quarter and KG got up like a sissy. LOL!

but if the refs let us play, we might. but yes as of right now, chances are we can't.

but those teams are already great. we're striving to be great. give us another month or so.

wow, i really thought the celtics had the mental edge over the lakers. to lose on a 13-2 run? and to be dominated by gasol?

kobe actually using himself as a decoy to get gasol 3 easy looks in a row, you usually don't see that, especially right after he had just hit a tough jumper which usually makes him even more willing to fire away.

and the rockets streak survives, that's really the thing i cared most about. this doesn't really affect much of anything. it would've still been celtics and lakers with the 1 seeds barring major injuries no matter the outcome.

I am sorry but Rockets are not yet ready to play such a physical game. 2/3 of our main guys do not welcome physical play.

Rockets need to work on two things though out the season: Chemistry and Mental toughness.

Chemistry will come over time. Mental toughness I am not so sure about.

but instead of playing soft like earlier, he went to the rim hard LOOKING for contact (that 3pt play was huge)

but he also made jumpshots, which he's capable of.

at the end of the day, the team that is more aggressive is usually the winner. we gotta get into that mindset of playing aggressive.

well whaddya know, Pau stepped up instead of wilting. Way to go Pau. You're still a soft flopping marshmallow, but tonight you can hold your head up high.

Glad the Celtics lost, now the Lakers need an emotional let down and lose alot of games after this one.

We need a healthy Tmac to draw attention so he can pass the ball to Yao the same way kobe does for pau. I hate those give the ball to Yao down low and let him go to work while everyone watches. I think it hurts the Rockets offense.

yao does NOT play the same way as pau. tracy can't do what kobe did with yao b/c yao cannot catch the ball 12-15 ft from the basket and shoot a jumper or take 1-2 dribbles and go to the basket.

but yes, we need tracy to get healthier and playing better. right now, with this tracy, we're a top 6-7 team. we need tracy to be healthy if we want to be a top 2-3 team.

Looks like the Cavs decided to eat Christmas dinner right before the game.

I don't think it's an issue of intensity or toughness. We have the intensity. We just have no closer. You absolutely have to have a wing that can make plays down the stretch of these close games like Bryant was tonite and Peirce was all throughout the Finals.

If McGrady doesn't get back to atleast last year's level, we have no chance. But that's also why these suggestions to trade him for the likes of Michael Redd are so laughable. He's our only chance. You have to have a playmaking wing to win it.

but pau can't take the ball within 10 feet and push 2 defenders in for a 8 foot hook or a turn around jumpshot. both won't dunk.. but yao's trying recently.

Incredibly stupid double-technical on Josh Howard right after he commits the flagrant on Przybilla. To do that in a closely contested game is inexcusable.
