http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=8047140 Haven't listened yet so I don't know any specifics of what they talk about, but thought I would give everyone the heads up.
Yeah, I listened to it. Apparently Drexler is going through the entire car wash experience, so he'll be embarrassing himself and the city of Houston all day long. On the plus side, I think maybe Clyde is trying to get some exposure now that he (oh god, hopefully) has lost his job to Calvin Murphy. The interview is really bad by the way. Clyde is rambling and makes little sense.
I don't mind Clyde. Murph talks way too much. This interview wasn't bad at all. It was an enjoyable listen.
good thing it's great to hear murph talk. he's one of the only people out there whose opinions about basketball i give a crap about.
Seems more like you couldn't make any sense of it, he doesn't tamble at all and majority of the interview he makes sense and shows good evaluation.
he was on the Herd with Colin yesterday as well. he was told to "pick one"- between Durant and Lebron. his answer: "You Can't go wrong"
Here is a recap for you guys Spoiler hehehe hehehe Now thats what you call doing a podcast! I like it! hehehe
I expect this everytime I hear Clyde. A lot of unnecessary chuckling and not even answering the question. I find him annoying.
the first two minutes of the podcast had him stumbling on Westbrook, LeBron, and Durant's names. I agree he is "auditioning" for radio and tv jobs. he isn't doing himself justice. and he's too nice to be a coach.
right, and he is promoting and publicizing it on the tv and radio waves, doing the circuit so to speak. he's trying to break out of the houston market, and now the rest of the country is seeing his skills behind a microphone.
I think the national perception of Clyde is better than the local one. I mean, I'm still the biggest Clyde fan ever from his playing days, but most of us who watch current Rockets games are just tired of him being awful. Glad that he's getting a chance to ingratiate himself with the rest of the country, people with whom he still has some stock. Clyde, I hear you have like a 7-handicap or something in golf. Stick to that in your retired years please!!!
you think that's bad? I made a vodoo doll of him and have been sticking pins in its mouth for 5 years.
