    i think the reason that they change it is because teams like suns shooting percentage is too high. I think it helps us a lil.

    I think the only upside is that Spalding will now sell MORE basketballs and thus make more money.

    if they change the design of the ball, then wouldnt some teams have to change their logos aswell??

    Maybe I'm in the minority,but if this is true I'm dead set against it.You don't mess around with Dr.Naismith's game to this degree.

    maybe there should be TWO balls in play during the game! that way, players will need to buy more basketballs :p

    i don't think it will have much affect. the nba probably just signed a new deal with a different sporting goods company.

    think about playing basketball at the park (or wherever you like to play)... you don't allways play with the same ball, not even the same material. your game doesn't change much.
