Monroe is the starter. There's no way that Maker as currently is, is the starter in any NBA team. Firstly it would be very irresponsible because it would be dangerous. This guy is weaker than even Brogdon the 2nd rounder rookie who is a guard. At best you give him 5-7 minutes and a little more in blowouts or if there's an injury to the 3 centers infront of him. Also I have learned that Monroe has offcourt issues and that's a reason they alo want to get rid of him.

How recently? Last I heard he got injured then had some drug charges; living in Fayetteville again. But that was a year ago
Spurs 19yr old rookie PG having a good game. Dejante Murray. Nailed a floater from the baseline on last second play to tie. In OT, he's controlling the tempo with nice dribbling and assists. Think he has a double double.
Dangelo Russell watching from the bench looking like a clown with his stupid haircut and dumb glasses
Russell is a clown. Thinks he's the second coming and Lakers fan love him. Don't get it -- his peak is like 15th best pg in the league.
LMA is already 30. He's either at his peak or on the decline by now. If Murray becomes good enough to be included in a "Big 3" conversation, it'll be by the time LMA is too old to be a big time contributor.
Umm many people think 30-35 is some kind of huge decline for players. When the Spurs have proven time and time again they can make players of those ages effective and win championships. Aldridge will be good for a long time. Plus the fact he doesnt even use much athleticism to be super affective. We're not talking Stoudamire game here. He has an old man's game.
I'd even wager Pau Gasol is a potential all star this year. The Spurs will be really good. Always underrated and people's eyes because most basketball fans think athleticism is everything.
Uh. Spurs were overrated last year. That got dusted by the more athletic OKC team, and that's the second time OKC destroyed them. Lost to the more athletic Clippers the year before Yes, they play a way that rakes up regular season wins, but it is indeed athleticism that gives them the most trouble You overrate their underratedness and always spin it like they are pure and infallible which is laughable
We'll see how good Pau really is(Chicago didn't make the playoffs even though he had a very good year) and if and how much the Spurs miss Tim Duncan. They also lost Diaw and West who gave them good 18 to 20 minutes per game. All three were good team defenders. I personally think the Spurs take a step back but I don't know if any other team is good enough to jump into 2nd in the west.
You underrate their overratedness, bro. Spurs forever. And no, LMA is no Duncan, i never said that. But he is still pretty dang lethal and a top 15 player in this league.
Also, i think its foolish to say how bad a team is just by saying how far a team went in the playoffs. Playoffs are all about matchups. Spurs drew a bad hand. They were championship contenders last year.
