In Austin, I'm pretty sure most games are on NBATV on Timewarner cable. Might be the case for other cable packages and cities.
Ingram looking like the real deal. Lakers and Pelicans on now D'Angelo Russell, Ingram and Heild, plus Walton's coaching debut.
Simmons is not a number one. He is afraid to shoot because he is freakishly bad at shooting. This ingram kid is basically a shorter, thinner kd.
On Ingram: ------------------------------------- “He’s the real deal,” Nance Jr. said. “I called my dad the first day after the first practice and I said, ‘Hey, I think this kid’s going to be all right.’ I told Pete to watch him. Pete’s my younger brother.” What about that reedy physique, the 190 pounds (at most) stacked up on six feet nine inches? “He is skinny. He’s a frail kid. But he’s tough,” Nance Jr. said. “On screens, he’ll hit you. On rebounds he’ll hit you. He gives you what he’s got and that immediately takes away the soft label. Or the tiny label, I guess.” ------------------------------------- “This is a grown-man’s league, but as far as knowing how to play the game and the skill set from being able to handle the ball, bring it up, post-ups, his defense — he’s been all over the place defensively, getting deflections for us,” Walton said. “Very excited about the way he’s played so far.”
Yes I agree, I had this feeling when LSU played Oklahoma. I think it will become drastically apparent tomorrow when they play each other
Ingram doesn't have Simmons' upside, but it would not surprise me if he turns out to be a better player. Hate to admit this, but now that Kobe is gone, watching the Lakers summer league team was fun. My anti-Lakers emotions are slowly going away.
A lot of that will turn to fat if he's not on PEDs Just like when JJ Watt was allegedly eating 9000 but getting leaner
I can't stand the Lakers, but Ingram and Russell were two of my favorite players coming out of their respective drafts. That duo is gonna be sick if management keeps them together. Kris Dunn is also another player I watched a lot of in college. Impressive game today, his crossover on Sampson was lethal. I feel his ceiling is John Wall 2.0 with better shooting, but less athleticism. Floor - probably Devin Harris lite. Malakas, were you able to catch the Bucks game? Curious to see how Brogdon did, another player I really liked and wished the Rockets drafted.
Ha.. funny that u should ask since i have already become one of his biggest fans. He was as I hoped. Savvy good passer great tough strong defender a calming presence. Guy knows how to play. Great bball iq. His shot is weird and didnt hit many but he will improve its obvious. Some other bucks fans complained that he couldnt keep up with a 5'9 fast pg all the way to the rim like tell me a player who can? He is perfect fit amd he will get playing time and by the ASW he will be the main backup pg behind Delly. Mcw will get beaten to the curb. Brogdon is the reason im excited for the rooks not Maker.
Dangelo russell is going to get traded to the Thunder for Westbrook next year. Book it. Westbrook Ingram tandem to go against the Warriors force. Plus one more max player who will be attracted to that duo.
That's great news. I'm surprised they are putting him at PG though, he didn't play that position at all in college and was more of a 2/3. He's a great shooter and was one of the elite defenders in college. I've been saying this a lot, but he reminds me a lot of Kawhi. He even has a nice post game. The Bucks' wing depth is ridiculous.
