    So still during times like these they keep up the cheap click bait and in this case a dumb, unrealistic take that’s just not going to happen.

    Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is under the belief that Golden State’s season is done.

    “We’re staying in touch with guys, but everyone is just sort of assuming that this is kind of it,” Kerr said on a Zoom call Tuesday with former San Francisco women’s basketball coach Jennifer Azzi and Warriors President and chief operating officer Rick Welts. “We’re not going to be involved much anymore.”

    With their chances of playing another game this season looking extremely slim, the Warriors have entered offseason mode. Last week, Kerr and general manager Bob Myers had Zoom calls with each of the team’s players, reviewing the season in what amounted to exit interviews.

    “It feels like the offseason,” Kerr said. “Our coaching staff and I have been undergoing staff evaluations, offseason plans. We are absolutely in offseason mode right now.”

    The Warriors are most likely hoping the season is over because they have been embarrassment and they want to get everyone back for next season

    Lot of money at stake in addition to mitigating social discord. We all need a win and sports back of any kind is one. Especially in areas far more impacted than Houston. The calendar has already been altered and the opportunity for a condensed campaign is a no brainer if you can isolate the players. Given the haircut they took - I'm betting more are willing to be distanced from their family for a short run.

    The Warriors season has been over so Kerr is speaking facts.

    Anyway, I think the players will want to get back on the court. Would be fun to enjoy NBA throughout the summer.
