whoever picked the list sux azz cleveland = UTTER GARBAGE. i'd rather watch a hawks game i cant stand watching the celtics but thats a given rockets should be top 5 teams, we have yao yao = ppl watching but true, if u sced. the rockets for 20games, we are gonna have some no shows/injuries
Yeah I can't believe the Knicks get none. They use to ALWAYS get a ton of appearances no matter how crappy they were.
i dont understand why dallas and phoenix is up there and we only get 13.. this is stupid. who cares as long as we win.
Good info! Thanks. Really not too surprised here. Dallas being up there is a bit surprising though. Looking at the team's nationally televised totals, it just shows that the Networks like to promote the "stars/sensations" (Kobe, KG, LeBron, AI, Oden, Shaq etc). I think Dallas is so high because of Kidd. What's interesting though is not the teams being televised, it's the "no shows" I count 11 teams either getting 1 or zero games. Kind of sad that the networks only expose the "haves" of the league and not the "have nots." I am surprised NY won't be on TV. They have a crappy team, but it's a big TV market. Aside....that list does not include NBATV matchups which are considered "sort of" as nationally televised games. I am sure you just about every team in the league in a few NBA TV games
I mad at the fact we dont even have one ABC game....pho= nash , dal=dirk gotta showcase the white guys.
Why does Cleveland get so many nationaly televised games? The NBA needs to stop hyping Lebron, even he he can overcome the hype..
Phoenix will suck. Dallas will suck harder. I'm calling it right now. Waste of national TV. Even if they don't give us more (injuries, Artest, whatever), please NOT the Mavs or the Suns.
i believe that the television schedule was determined at around the same time the official nba schedule was released. and that was before the rockets acquired ron artest. so speculation of ron affecting houston's nationally televised game schedule is irrelevant.
Hopefully we can get out of the first round this year and earn some National TV points for next season.
