That Rubio kid would be a perfect fit for Rox with Yao in the post. He is not extremely fast but his passing skills are truly exceptional. He can create shots for teammates. He could be the next Steve Nash.

Brooks is better fitted to play 2nd unit with Wafer. Both can generate sparks for offense. Lowry can be a good sub too if we have to give up AB.

I'd say we trade TMac with Memphis for Rubio, Miles and Mihm if possible. Salary matches and TMac and Gay can both play 2 and 3.

Houston gets a perfect PG and a backup Center - Mihm.

LeBron was uncertain. #1 picks usually turn out okay. It's not like Griffin is the next Kwame Brown anyway.

I wouldn't mind giving up Scola. Griffin and Landry would be scary.

And its not like Scola is gonna help the Clippers beat us.

    LAC selects Griffin, done.
Rubio will be picked by Memphis for SAC through a trade.
OKC will picked that Uconn C.

Except the Rockets pretty much have to gut their entire team to get someone like Griffin or Rubio. Look at what OKC was willing to give up from 3 to 1. The Rockets don't even have a pick.

Getting #1 for the Rockets would involve taking on massive contracts AND gutting our young talent. I'd assume at least giving up Brooks and Landry, in addition to taking on Baron Davis' contract. That's pointless given that we're not in rebuilding mode right now.
