The one good thing about even the vets getting a lot less calls is that if we ever actually do decide to give Christopher and Garuba minutes their intensity might not just lead to loads of fouls. We really do need to give them both more play, Nwaba and to a lesser extent Tate (who is more a skilled defender) are the only guys we've got who actually fight with their defenders physically. I really don't think it'd hurt to try the guys who've shown a bit of that dog in them regardless of how raw they are.

 

Really think the nba nerd media loves to use Green as the defensive / failure guy. Most videos I see of him are always that….

True but with rookies it has pretty much always been this way.
What got me was the ' the rip swipe move' or whatever they call it. Chris Paul(or Harden) just entangle their arms through the defender as they 'shoot'. They were supposed to stop calling those yet Porter was called for it. It's not a normal shooting motion you have to seek arms.

 

I noticed this. Poor guy doesnt speak english so he cant even b**** at the refs. He probably is questioning the translations on NBA rules in his Turkish NBA rulebook.

 

I hope you know it isn’t the refs, it’s the nba. They just follow what they’re being told.
