I won't disagree there, but I don't have a problem with the Rockets being ranked below the Spurs at the moment. Yes, they did just beat them in San Antonio, but the Spurs responded by winning their next 2 games, including a big comeback in L.A. yesterday. The Wizards are ranked that high due to winning in Detroit and having the best record in the Least which is impressive considering how badly they started.
Ranking us below the Wizards only makes sense because Yao is not playing. Eddie Jordan made it clear after the 2nd game they were glad not to see Yao again for another year.
Great to see the nat'l media taking note! Just have to take care of biz over the next week + and notch Ws vs. teams we should beat easily.
well we are hotter than the spurs, and if 100% healthy we would've had a better record than them too. however, as i see it, they still have the edge in a 7 game series. i think we are basically the 4th best in the league. if we can add one or 2 bench players to next years roster we will be right at the top!
