Yup. People keem mentioning it because it's true. Until Tmac and Yao go a whole season without getting hobbled, we'll be known as injury prone.

The top 5 is always debatable, but I really don't see Orlando(15) ranking that high. So they have Rashard... BIG deal.. they act like he's Garnett-level superstar. GS and NO are clearly better teams than the Magics.

the top 3 teams are still the same: spurs, mavs and suns. i dont think we're on their level yet. we're defintely close, but just not there. i'd say we're as good as the jazz were last year. hopefully this team can prove me wrong and show me they are better.

And I think you're wrong. I think we are easliy on Suns' level I can even say our defense is better. With up-tempo games we can beat them 3 times in the season. The sam with Mavs. Well we even showed we can beat the SAS last year so yes, we can beat the spurs also

I don't remember the Rox beating the Spurs last year.

    Unless you mean regular season?

Because in the playoffs the Spurs dismantled, in 5, the team that took the Rockets out.

As this season progresses, and the Rockets have success against the Spurs, even quite possibly winning the division over the Spurs, don't assume what happens during the regular season has ANYTHING to do with how the Spurs approach and manage teams in the playoffs.

    I speak of experience.

I was on an (SI) board in 1995 just talking trash to Rockets fans after the Spurs went 5-1 during the regular season, had the MVP, and finished a DOZEN games in front of those has-been "Champion" Rockets...

    My bad.

Last season they won twice with SAS. One time without McGrady, 2nd without Yao.

Amd yes I agree. Spurs look like completly different team in the postseason. What makes them great, they have a great defense plus very good inside and out game.

But I still think we can beat them. Maybe not easily but we can.

i guess the rockets will have to prove that they are elite in the first month since we do play the top 3 teams in the league. GO ROCKETS!

seems like that has been the top 5 ranking for the last 2 or 3 seasons!
