I hope like tinder, pornhub or red tube try to buy ad space. I remember when the new meadowlands stadium was being built, the cheating website Ashly Madison wanted to sponsor the stadium

We all know that inevitably the ads will grow and becoming the prominent feature of the jersey. It's such a shame. At least it's somewhat understandable that soccer has ads since they do not have commercials during the game. The NBA has plenty of commercials. They talk about wanting to speed up the game, an easy solution is right there in front of them: take away mandatory TV timeouts. But of course they won't.

Ads are everywhere in the NBA but they just had to taint the jerseys. Soon enough they'll make the ball an advertisement.

i'm guessing the money goes to the overall revenue pot that the owners and players split 50/50.

So seeing a McDonald's logo on a Harden jersey is suppose to influence ppl to buy their food? Damn there are some weak minds out there

Honestly, if I had to pick a sponsor on the jersey (which is a disgrace to have some crap like that on a jersey), it'd probably be McDonald's since the colors match up. If we get proper uniforms that is.

I would like for the Rockets to sponsor Milwaukee Bucks' jersey after we beat them in the finals in 2017.

I dont think Kim Son has the funds to advertise or would even do it. Having there name on a jersey does nothing for them bc they are based locally in Houston.

The Stub Hub and Blue Diamond Almond ads look tacky. I don't think there's any way to make ads on basketball jersey's not look tacky.

The NBA, with all its righteous nonsense lately, should do it Barcelona's way. For over a year, Barca had UNICEF as jersey sponsor to psychologically prepare fans towards accepting logos on jerseys. Then they went out there and decided to get sponsored by that old promoter of peaceful Wahabism: Qatar. Més que un club indeed.

What a horrible idea by the league. Why am I not surprised that it has come to this. They already charge far too much for League Pass and "NBAtv," and I pay it, so why not foist some more crap on fans? After all, we care about the game, the players, the coaching staff, and the front office. The league? They are the owners, and the owners care about profit. There are a few, like Cuban, who are really ardent fans and would spend more on their teams, if allowed, but the majority care only for the bottom line.

We will still watch the games and they know it.
