I loved the reverence these guys gave Dream, although we've heard Shaq's stories before. "Nice move big fella".
Nah it's more like Jordan or Drexler? Still a ridiculous argument, but Patrick was a great player and probably very underrated as far as all time greats.
Hakeem was good but if I had to pick between Ewing and Hakeem, I would pick Patrick every time. Spoiler Signed, Old Spice
Seen this 10x. I liked CWebb's part the best. He describes Hakeem as "not that tall" on one hand, then "tall" on a another. Sounds funny because Hakeem's game was so versatile and unique that it's difficult to put into words. Also, notice how many times the players say "only guy ever to/who/that ________". Dream was the man.
Patrick or Hakeem??? Does the question sound like they are even comparable to each other? The one who asked this question has to be the dumbest person in the world.
There is no doubt Hakeem is better than Patrick but Patrick was still great. He was a true superstar who did it all just like Hakeem but Hakeem just did it better. Patrick was more of a traditional center with traditional posts moves but his moves were so polished and athletic that he was almost impossible to stop. Also, he can consistently hit the 18-20 foot jump shot. A stretch 5 before that term even existed. He blocked shots, played great defense, always left everything on the floor, and he was a leader and a hard worker. He never played with another superstar in his career, carried his team deep in the playoffs every year in his prime, and, as you all know, even carried one to the Finals once. What made Hakeem more special than Patrick is that Hakeem was an innovator. He invented moves and at times played like a guard at the center position. That and the 2 rings he won.
