Your point is made but I wouldn't include the Packers in this group. They don't have a big nationwide fan base, it's just that their fans travel well during the regular season (and playoffs). The Steelers, for example, have rabid fans in every city. When we went to Universal Studios in Orlando 7-8 years ago, the Packers had a game at Tampa the day before we arrived. There must have been at least 15 or 20 busloads of Packers fans from Green Bay that got to the park and unloaded just as we arrived there. Many of them wore jerseys and some ever wore cheeseheads to the park. It was a sight to behold, like a green invasion.
You're still only showcasing 4 teams... That approach, coupled with the fact that the teams are generally playing each other during the ABC games is what bothers me It behooves the league to show diversity in players, style of play and parity/high level of competition across the league. It goes back to my original questions: Is this league only a four-team show?
But every season they force Colts vs Patriots (Brady vs Manning). almost always on sunday or monday night.
If you factor in NBATV, ESPN and TNT you're looking at upwards of 10 national games a week. There is plenty of diversity. Miami, Denver and Atlanta are on just about every week.
davd stern is a big market media w**** and i would love to slap the dog shyt outa his corrupt sketchy dictator ass
