well presumably they won't be that good until our window is mostly closed, but it'll still suck with them in the west in the future. maybe they'll both bust and the east will get some dwade like darkhorse, but man the east just keeps falling further behind.

The Sonics had an 8% chance to win, and the Blazers had a 5% chance to win,

Bill Simmons is crying in a room somewhere over those stats.

    Portland WOW

    Roy
    Webster
    Aldridge
    Randolph
    Oden

Seattle loses big time cause they already have 2 wingman maybe they wanna trade Rashard to Houston.

wow 2 more potential powerhouses on the rise. ANOTHER problem for the rox. those 2 teams WILL make the playoffs next yr. and it could be a problem for the rox in the first round.

man, oden will shut yao down. so sad.

damn it, the only good to come out of this was Memphis not getting Oden. If Memphis got Oden I would've killed someone

The West just got tougher. Oden to Portland and with all those rookies, they have a ton of cap space to get some good vets.

I guarantee a playoff spot for the Jailblazers. I can't believe Barry saying they should trade Oden for a vet.

I just kept saying at #3... please don't be Atlanta. When I saw that Hawks logo I just felt terrible. Man that sucks.

Could have been worse though .... Memphis (in our division) or Atlanta not being in the top 3 (going to Phoenix) would have been hard.

this is terrible news for ESPN and the media, now 2 small market teams on the other side of the country get the 2 biggest stars. I wonder what ESPN is going to do

I'm not worried about Durant in Seattle. Actually, does this now mean the Allen or Lewis is available?

Oden in Portland is scary though, if not this season. Oden, LA, Randolph, Roy, Jack. ATHLETES. Man.....that's two 7 footers to throw at Yao.

This was Stern's way of sticking it to the teams that tanked. :D

Somebody's got to be the odd man out sooner or later of Oden, Aldridge and Randolph - they'd probably prefer it be Randolph but I bet it may end up being Aldridge

I kinda wanted ATL to get the second making Williams or Smith available.

I think Seattle's gonna look to trade Rashard now.

Oden and Durant in the West -- The Curse of Van Gundy

well what else should it be?

At least it's harder for Utah.

    Sucks for AI and Carmelo.

    REALLY sucks for KG.

so does portland want aldridge, randolph, durant at fairly normal positions or oden, randolph, and aldridge all on the front line, somewhat cancelling out having all of them?

and does seattle even plan to resign rashard and, if they do, is rashard, allen, durant going to be good? seems like seattle and portland should've flipped for better fits, but maybe portland doesn't care about fit and just wants oden.

how could atlanta have <1% chance to win. they had the 5th worst record. it looked like they got a pick from indy who had <1% but it wouldn't be this one.
