Maybe the players asking for 51% was just a stab they had to take and are prepared to back away from.

    Just trying to be positive.

I bolded the incorrect portions of your post. I'll leave it up to you to figure out why.

    Good luck.

Well Sir it was a pleasure being on the opposite side of a argument against your for a change.

When it comes to the game of basketball I almost always agree with you and enjoy hearing your opinions.

I am glad this crap is over. I want this thread locked and then deleted :)

What happened? I thought the players were filing disclaimers to hold out for 53% BRI. They are stuck with the 49-51% BRI band from last month. What was the point of the disclaimer and the loss of 16 games?

The player didn't want to lose on $$ and system issues. Lets see the framework of the deal before we start assigning blame.

The players nor owners wanted the courts to settle it for them, they both had too much to lose.

Even though the players are taking less % of the BRI, with escalating revenues they will not see any reduction in salary as a whole.

such a great news. if they didn't settle it sooner than they did, both parties will suffer the lose..

can't wait to watch them again.. ;)
