lol they already canceled one event where they were supposed to show the game and talk about it leading people to believe they just aren't ready..AGAIN. NBA Live sucks.
They said they are using a new engine and new models etc, but the players still look like awkward robots with stiff movement.. Same crap with Madden. Start over with both franchises. Fire everyone. I just want to try it out and see if they improved the game. If they build off of Live 10 instead of the horror show elite 11, then the game could actually be good.
If its good I'll check it out. Def will get 2K. When it comes to Madden, you can complain about it or you can play it. I choose to play it.
I'm confused. In another gaming thread, people were bashing NBA2K, saying how much worse it has got because of the animations and AI. Now, the only competition to potentially give 2K a run for its money, and people are not even giving it a chance.
You expect people to cheerlead for an awful franchise that died because of its own incompetency (as opposed to exclusive rights) which is headed by a company that killed off the greatest football series (among many other things) of all time? The NBA Live series sucks, and so does EA, they deserve all the scorn and ridicule they get. I welcome competition, but I reserve the right to mock the living hell out of this game until they give me a reason not to.

I feel that 2k has made significant strides over the past few years. It may be a bit glitchy, but every sports game is. They have revamped my player, online association, and added more legends this year. I think the game gets better every year. And next year they are getting rid of the God awful blacktop mode (or at least bringing the ASG activities indoors)
I played NBA Live 2005 for hundreds of hours. Then in 2006 they introduced "star moves" and that just broke the game. 2007 was slightly better but really, it was all downhill after 2005. I have no hopes for this but 2k would benefit from competition.
Though i love 2k, it too is getting old. I can't ever advance in association b/c the league gets filled with generic created player who all look a like. It's the most annoying thing ever. They must bring back college hoops in order to import rosters and also improve the face creation (possibly adding a fifa/pes type gameface technology).
