Wow, I cannot even describe how bad this game is. The graphics are just terrible. Like someone else said, it's all blocky. It looks like 2k5. The only thing I liked was the floor spacing, it seemed like it had a bigger court than 2k. However the gameplay is very robotic, not fluid at all, kinda like madden is.

Yeah, something about the PS3 controller.. it doesn't feel right in my hands... the joysticks are way better on the Xbox Controller... just the overall feel is better on that Xbox controller IMO.

When playing 2k9, I think there are too few people in the crowd wearing jerseys. But this... this is a bit much

I think it's because the atmosphere is set to playoff or finals intensity in that specific game.

Agreed. The ps3 is a fantastic system but I have no idea other than blatant homerism how anyone could prefer that **** controller over the 360's. It's flimsy and small and the left joystick is in a terrible location. I thought they'd address that after the ps2 dual-shock but nope. First person shooters and sports games aren't even close as far as control between the 2 consoles. The only advantage the ps3 controller has is a vastly superior d-pad but other than street fighter when does anyone use that thing? If I could port 360 controllers to the ps3 it'd improve the experience tremendously.

I'll go download the live demo and check it out but it's gonna have to be a complete overhaul for me to even think about switching from 2k.

real street fighting people buy the arcade sticks regardless of system.

PS2/3 controller is great for madden though.

Seems like they did try to address some things with the original PS3 controller, but people seemed to hate the idea of using anything other than the DualShock design (which, IIRC, seemed to be "perfect" back then, but then again, maybe that was relative to other controllers of the time). Although I guess the new design could have been terrible too...certainly looked weird, but I was always curious to see how it would actually work.
