2K wins again. The AI is smart as heck. Without you running plays, your teammates try to get open, create opportunities for you by automatically setting picks. Pick and Pop is now in the game! T-Mac pick and roll with Scola on the pick and pop is like butta. Abuse it too much, and they trap it. Give and go is fun too. I'm really not calling many plays, between the dynamic offense and the two man game controls, there really is no need to anymore, unless its something you know you want to go to to try to get a score after the other team has just been on a run (dump it in to Yao). The Hornets whipped my arse, CP3 is a freakin animal. Him and Chandler connected on the pick and roll alley at least 4 times. When I rolled with Chandler, he stuck the J. Isomotion feels weird though, something I have to get used to. It is a little different than 2k8.

I have demo for Live 09, looks nice but I'm more for realistic way of basketball, 2K all the way. For example in LIVE 08 Rafer could dunk with two hands. Can somebody convince me that's good? Btw Mike James looked back in a day like an alien?
NBA Live 09 has better gameplay. and the new stuff they're adding to it look pretty sweet. the 2k series isn't that good. not sure why everyone here is in love with it.
I'm still trying to decide myself... I've been with Live mostly in past years, but a lot of people here are 2K fans so I don't know what to do. I played the demos on PS3, theyre pretty even I think.
How good is NCAA Football? I haven't bought the game since 07 on PS2. Is it that much different? I'm trying to track down a used copy at a decent price.
lmao at anyone saying NBA Live 09's gameplay is better than 2k's... 1) It's basically gonna outsell Live again this year 2) It's gonna get a better rating than Live like it always has since 2K sports was developed 3) Signature shots IMO are better looking on 2K, I mean even the freethrows are changed now for EVERY player. I have the game already, I got it last monday (hehe) and I've been playing it and having fun with it. Yes, NBA Live has the DNA feature and everything, but gameplay is what it comes down to for most people, that's why 2k has outsold Live now.. There's more online features too on 2k. Good luck for anyone who's getting on Tuesday though I doubt it will be sold out. I might end up getting NBA Live also because I don't hate it, I just can't say it's better than NBA 2K9, based on me playing full games, trying out association and other features.

I only don't see how anyone can say NBA Live has better gameplay. I have both games, and 2K compared to Live is like night and day. Live feels stiff, while 2K plays extremely smooth. If you aren't just a casual basketball fan, than the little things in 2K will just blow your mind. Words can't even explain how good the gameplay is this year. I know its cliche, but you really have to play it for yourself to truly appreciate it.
