Is anyone going to Walmart before midnight to get their copy of NBA Live? Does anyone have the Rockets roster on hand? I am dying to see who the game has as our starters. I think we have: Sura/James/Head/Moochie Wesley/Anderson/Barry T-Mac/Bowen Stro/J-Howard/Baxter/Baker Yao/Mutombo
Live was for sale here in Boulder, CO at the local EBGames today. I didn't think it came out for a few weeks. I went in to pre-order it and the guy handed me a copy.
I need help guys. Can you confirm if NBA Live 2k6 will run on my pc ? My pc is not yet updated but I was able to play live 2k5 since last year..Here's the specs: Pentium3 733 Mhz, 256mb RAM, with GeForce 2 video card and running on Windows ME... thanks a lot!
I don't think it would be much fun, unless you don't mind having all the graphics etc. down. Your best bet would be to go to Best Buy (or any store) that sells the game and read the minimum requirements for the game. I'm getting it on PC becaue it will only cost $38. WRather than $49 on a console. http://gamestop.com/product.asp?product_id=B646321A
Yeah, Uprising pretty much gave you a good idea on how it would run, if it actually ran at all. Here's some requirements I found off of Google: http://www.nba-live.com/nba2006/index.php It looks like there was a small jump in requirements from 05. You will probably need to upgrade. FWIW, your PC specs reminded me of the Xbox specs...which really isn't a good thing if you're a PC gamer.
Once you set the sliders in nba live, the game is just awesome, It's a battle every time out to win. Love this game to no end. I feel as though it's one of the best games ever because of the competition, realistic stats, and utter exhaustion of trying to win. My only problem is I can't remmeber where I got my sliders for the last game. Anyone know of the best web sites for the sliders. There is one guy who spends a lot of time tweaking the sliders. I just don't where he posts.
By way, I'm speaking about old game, have not got the new yet. But loved nba live last year and still love it tonight.
Maybe ya'll can fill me in on what's a slider? Live06 is pretty good. They playmaking abilities of the star players is pretty sweet once you get use to it. THE BIGGEST MISTAKE: The 3-pointers when playing on-line. They made shooting 3's so unbelievably easy that it isn't even funny. It doesn't matter if you have Yao on Nash, I had a buddy who had Nash drain 14 3's in one game.
Never been fond of Live, but I'll rent this one because it's getting pretty good feedback around the net. I'm a 2k man, myself. Does anyone know if nba 2k game is gonna be 20 bucks again?
Im a live man and this years just isnt that impressive. Like above, the 3 pointers are way too easy online. Every game I played it was just who has the ball last ends up winning usually. Too easy to score. Maybe it will get better after time but I like last years so much better.
Also we dont have DA yet in the game. I guess they are waiting for final rosters to update them but that I want to use DA. Cassel isnt on the Clippers yet either but they should fix that soon hopefully.
