Brewer is actually a really bad shooter. He shot 30% last year from deep and 26% the year before. His D is good, but his shot is too inconsistent.

These arent sexy names but guys like Roger Mason Jr., Gary Neal are what we need. These guys are lights out from deep and have proven it over their careers. More importantly they will be cheap!

Maybe, but it reads to me like the dont want to overpay for him like they did with joe johnson.

Larvs was three years all they could offer?

Brewer is a perimeter defender tho, and we do need one of those.

It's a long shot, but I think it can happen.

LMA will make $14,628,000 next season. We can send about $9,752,000(or more) salary to make it work.

Asik, G. Smith, & Ohlbrecht(or J. Anderson) with picks for LMA...

I just can't see an Aldridge deal happening right now. They picked up Robin Lopez to man the middle. If Aldridge is moved I don't think it will be visited by the Blazers until the trade deadline at earliest.

Brewer is a really good defender and really flourished in Denver's uptempo offense. I like him, but his biggest weakness is his shooting, below average 3 pt shooter.

That depends on how the Rockets use him. He took a lot of threes and missed a lot from various places, however he was one of the better corner 3 shooters in the league last year. He could be our less IQ, more athletic Battier

I think Smith is important to us being a good enough defensive team to win the title. I have thought it over and considered the other side (an Anderson type).

Josh Smith allows you to run someone like Greg Smith, Terrence Jones or Dmo at backup center.

Josh Smith and D12 in the same defense is tremendous on the interior and both those guys can play a bit on the perimeter considering their size.

Would Asik+Lin+Jones+Anderson be enough to get Smith @ 14 million and clear cap room for Jack?

LOL @ JSmoove...the Pistons are going nowhere fast and apparently neither is he.
