Calm down now. Why the hostility? The Mavs are run by Avery and Donnie Nelson and the Mavs best player is the best player the Franchise has ever been fortunate to aquire. They haven't won the lottery yet.

The hostility is because Dirk is such a flopper it's a joke and because of the playoff series two years ago.

From my personal standpoint, I still strongly dislike the Mavs but love Avery Johnson's development as a coach. The job he has done this year to keep the team on an even keel throughout the long season is truly amazing. The coach of the year award shouldn't be in question, IMO, because it's slam dunk for AJ. I think your team's record is above it's talent level and this is a direct reflection of the coach's ability. But the way the Mavs lost their chemistry in the Finals was incredible. The meltdown in the last 6 1/2 minutes of game 3 and closing the Finals with a 4 game losing streak rests squarely on AJ. I say that as someone that likes him a lot. Wish he didn't coach the Mavs.

I'm probably one of only 3-4 people here who like Josh Howard. He is another guy who's strides have been amazing. He is clearly your 2nd best player and I appreciate what he brings to both ends of the floor.

Dirk grew last year. His playoff performances against the Spurs and Suns was a big step forward for him. But his failure to step up big time in the Finals to stop the bleeding shows he still has a ways to go in the "clutchness" department. Maybe this will be his year. IMO, he has the regular season MVP award almost wrapped up. I've stopped calling him "Jirk" but if he continues the silly flopping (he's worse than Ginobilli) I'll go back to name-calling.

I want the Mavs to win over 70 games and face the Rockets in the 2nd round. The prospect of them losing in the playoffs after such a great regular season makes this Rockets fan smile.

i've also got a NBA account, and somehow I am able to watch LP. I registered that account about 1 yr ago, so it probably is not a trial.

 

mine hasn't worked recently. It keeps asking for an account number and a dish network. Which i obviously dont have

 

Can you tell us where are you located? I wonder if that makes a difference... I am in Plano (North Dallas), my NBA account won't work either...
