If you think the KG ejection you should have seen the Knicks Rookie Center get a tech on the way to the bench for mumbling.
the thing that gets me mad, is that in the beginning of the video, Amare complains about a call, but he doesnt get a tech, but when KG complains, then he got it, just make the same calls for all the players. and that video is deleted, but here it is another one: <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/u18jX8Mf334?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/u18jX8Mf334?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
Considering the new found power the players realise they have.... It surprises me they don't realise, they should just cop the technicals in the early season and watch the nba backpedal on the rule.
nba is stupid because its gonna be rigged from now on. underdogs can kiss their hopes goodbye. whoever is predicted to be in the finals will be in the finals. just book it, miami vs la nba finals . thats how stern wants it.
this rule will be ignored as the season progresses. why? kobe will get like a bajillion technicals for just staring at the officials everytime he thinks he gets fouled.

Well, in theory this is rule applied correctly will be a deterrent to this attitude in the future. We'll see if it works out. The preseason is also a time for the refs to prepare.
This season will be the one with most technical fouls if this rule applies to all players, all games.
Sure, let's turn all of the NBA players into mutes. God forbid that they converse with the refs for clarification or to voice some frustration. It's a man's league. There's going to be some bad words. It's always been that way. Stern is going to have problems with this when his golden girls in Miami get away with everything. Also, why do the refs gesture with so much excitement when they eject a player? it's the same thing as an overreaction a a bad call.
Hopefully he gets hell for it. Hopefully. This rule is just a band-aid on the problem, which is poor ref decision making.
at 1:04 mike breen talks about how it will hurt player and ref relationships. there should be NO player and ref relationship at all. players and officials have had this buddy buddy, or enemy relationship against specific players since stern has been commissioner
