Agree there wasn't much on that. Not shocked tho the NBA said it was wrong considering they need to perpetuate their agenda and ensure a first round exit. Imagine how many butts would be hurt if GS didn't make it to round 2

and they should probably stop doing it. for one thing, it accomplishes nothing (outside of a flagrant upgrade like to draymond since that affects the rest of the playoffs). and second, we all know the rulebook barely means anything at the end of a close game, much less a close playoff game. you man up and do what you can. going back and analyzing it to see small discrepancies from the rulebook is stupid, unless you want them to call it by the rulebook and make everyone even madder. harden barely pushed off. by gamewinning standards, that's a no call every time (jalen rose just agreed with that sentiment). i don't even have a huge problem with iggy holding beasley, that's just what happens and you have to be tougher.

They should definitely stop this after-the-fact bullsh.

It serves no purpose, only leads to b****ing.

I don't care what anyone says. I have the same video they do. Iguodala flopped.

In no universe is that an offensive foul, I don't care what 1000 Reggie Miller gasbagmouths say.

Plus the NBA is notorious for not calling obvious fouls the last seconds of the game..

"oh..no referee is going to call that unless it's blatant.."

Lol @ the ESPN headline. "NBA says Harden winner should not have counted."

Good ol' ESPN. Dependable as ever with the anti-Harden headlines.

(Not to say I don't agree with the report. Just laughing at ESPN's phrasing.)

LOL if Beasley was Curry instead in any of those plays those calls get called in-game, or at least 1 of them at least.

    SMH.

The worst part of this as others have mentioned is how it's being phrased in the media. They totally neglect the 2 wrong calls on the Warriors but take the one that they care about the most to run with the story.

At the end of the day the report is a wash to me and a lot of real Warriors fan even say think that way.

The hate for Houston is strong, guess game 4 will have a ton of calls against us and we have no shot now. Then they will win 4-1 and everybody will say that one win by us was a fluke. Well done media.

I understand that per its own policy, the NBA will now rule in these types of calls after the fact. While they say it's for greater transparency, I feel like this sort of thing can be used as a way of blatantly manipulating fan perception of calls. On any given call, the NBA can essentially provide irrefutable ammunition to fans of the remaining 29 teams about the accuracy of a given call. And the ammo comes from the NBA itself! Because fans argue, the NBA can use them to essentially carry water for the league and create a narrative that the NBA made the correct call.

We all know what happened. The NBA "referees" tried to let GS cheat their way to victory with 15 seconds remaining and GS players clearly thought they were going to get away with it, too. The first Ariza inbound pass that was "intercepted" for a layup should have been a foul because Beasley was clearly held but refs ignored it and it was so obvious. And, the supposed Harden push-off they are saying was an offensive foul was more like a non-impact flailing of hands/arms by both players that was not even a push as Harden was driving with 10 seconds left. The GS player clearly thought Harden was driving and his momentum carried him away from Harden. The flailing of both players arms was not a push by Harden. It was both players making incidental contact with the GS player clearly trying to make it look like he was pushed by flailing away from the incidental contact with his momentum carrying him away. There is NO WAY that was an offensive foul and the NBA is a pile of dog***** for saying it was. And, even if you could make a failed argument that it was, no ref would ever call that in that situation...EVER...unless they were being a p***y because it was the waning moments of the game where it BETTER be a real foul or ref is just a WUSS.

So, not only should their steal/layup not have even counted to put them up by one, they almost tried to give it away again with this phantom offensive foul claim on Harden where they would have been at the FT line to seal a GS victory.

The NBA can go to hell. National Bastards Association is more like it!
