I really like Barkley's comments and his analysis is many times spot on. But his ability to predict is terrible. Anything he predicts usually ends up being the exact opposite. So this should have been a flag to bet money on the Rockets.

    lol.

Our situation with RA is much different. Relating to all we have been thrrough with him and how he has gotten the best out of what was given, I doubt they would fire him unless they could find someone a lot better.

PJ wont COTY too..? So did Doc Rivers and I doubt the Cs will firwe him.

What does being a die hard fan have anything to do with realistically expecting the Rockets to be a sub .500 team without their two superstars?

There were many around, even here that had no faith and wanted to tank for the sake of a high lotto pick. I remember, you know who you were. No Tracy! No Yao! salary cap, gotta clear space. Morey and Rick are driving the boat steady threw weary travel, being patient. When everyone was panicking, they had a plan. Yao is getting better, Brooks, Scola, Landry, Trevor, Lowery, Chuck and Shane are holding down the fort, Tracy wants to play, he just doesn't know where he'll be playing. The trade deadline is not too far off and neither is the light at the end of the tunnel. Playoff bound or bust'.

I don't understand why people were so surprised by how we're playing. We took the Lakers to 7 games.

We are SOLID at every position even without T-mac. Undersized yes, but when you ahve a great coach like adelman and a lot of solid talent...it's not like our roster is filled with ex-CBA guys.

I mean, you look at everyone of our guys and they are very good role-players. Brooks, Battier, Landry, Ariza, Hayes, Scola, Lowry - that's a solid team. Most teams don't have that kind of bench.

You throw in Chase and Andersen, and of course we are playing well. People act like we don't have talent. This is not the same Rockets team from 3 years ago...where if Yao or T-mac got injured we had Battier and then guys like Mike James or Juwan Howard to take the reigns.

The only sad thing is that T-mac and Yao never went to the playoffs with this cast - oh boy you think Dallas or Utah would have been able to match up with us??

I don't consider that a jinx, since there are 28 other teams with no championships either. It usually doesn't go to a coach that has stacked team like the Spurs, Lakers, or Celtics.

Till now still so much surprise to us.why?I think its kind of irrespect and insult for us.

yes ,we admit our lineup is mostly composed with 2-round draft, but many of these guys were seriously underrated.like landry ,my favorite player, his athletism, passion, belief to win is superior among the peers, even compared with some all-star level players.

So what we need to do is still playing with heart and soul, develop more underdogs like chase and kyle, beat our opponets heavily.when surprise change into jealousy, that mean we win the respect from the league finally.

exactly why RA deserves the COY. pops and phil wont get it because even a adequate coach can get kobe to the playoffs however RA is turning nothing into something. something amazing is pretty deservant of COY according to me.

What I don't understand is why anyone on here would be surprised that the rest of the league is slow to catch on to how good we really are. The Rockets never get the respect we deserve. Even when we won the back-to-back championships we couldn't get due credit. And last season when we took the Fakers to 7 games all the media blamed it on a poor performance from the Cakers, instead of an awesome job by the Rockets.
