I really think the Warriors lost a lot chemistry wise and on court wise in their aquisition of Durant.
First game of the new NBA season for them, and they have to go against the chemistry of the Spurs. I think the Warriors will be fine. Even if they go on to lose this game tonight, that'll motivate them harder. Which is scary.
I didn't say they were going to suck. They will still be one of the top teams in the end. But I do not believe they effectively got better over the off season even with picking up Durant.
The warriors have everything on their side, refs, the league, everybody. But defense does matter. Rebounds actually matter. It's not all about the 3 pointer, like everybody thinks. The spurs aren't doing much to beat the warriors, the warriors are beating themselves.
Warriors should really consider giving Javale some playing time. Just don't let him run fast break and do crazy **** on the offensive end.
Utah has managed to come back against the Blazers without 2 of their starters (Hayward and Favors). Gobert has really worked on his FTs.
Well, I actually think the Durant thing turned a lot of people off as far as everyone being on their side. But I agree. Their lack of inside presence at any point seems to be hurting them. And they haven't exactly figured out how to cook with all the chefs in the kitchen. They could still win this game, but I think they have some obvious warts that weren't there at any point last season.
Everyone's watching the GSW-Spurs game but this Jazz-Blazer game is very entertaining. Rodney Hood looks like an improved player and should be one of the better SGs in the league and George Hill is an excellent guard addition to the Utah lineup. If they stay healthy I expect them to be in the thick of the playoff hunt.
Lmao at green screaming and punching his chest after draining a wide open 3 and cutting the deficit to like 16
