    It's going to be really hard for the Lakers to beat the Jazz after having to play two games while they rest. Then the Clippers. Then the Suns or Nuggets. Seems close to impossible.

    if conspiracy talk. Lakers as defending champ is supposed to be the better team. So Silver can let Warriors secure this spot. Then Lakers can go and still be safe against the Grizzles; plus it'll be good TV ratings.

    I mean sure. My whole thing this playoffs I want the Nets to break up quickly, and I still think that happens if they don't win a title this year.

    If Lakers actually get in a groove, they have ceiling to compete with a Nets team.

    GSW is ceiling is only to upset the Suns or Jazz, neither of which helps that cause/goal.
