“Silver” lining for them is they face a depleted pacers and can still get in at 8th.

I remember a stat during the season that season headed for most blowouts or something, as in most games is just dependent on which team gets hot. Don't know if if even out since then.

But it makes sense now with the league so shooting and 3 pt heavy, that one-off games will more likely be blowouts. Plus the NCAA tournament has like a 100 games, so you have more opportunities for some to have clutch/epic endings.

Not like it matters but westbrick and co can still beat a short handed pacers team. Not many people will care though lol

So with over 5 mins left in the game does this count as quitting or nah. Asking for a friend

oh and is anyone going to tell him, they still have a chance to make the 8th seed rather than leave the team behind

i feel sorry for russ( good dude) but i still dont know how any star can win a series playing with current westbrook as a teammate, his whole game has a negative impact on winning. The sad part is he wasnt always this kind of stathunting triple double type of player

A real point guard would set them up with better looks.

Didn't really watch the game so I'm just looking at the box score.

It seems Westbrook receives the lion's share of the blame, but Davis Bertans, who signed a 5 year / 80M contract recently, went 0-7 from behind the arc and 1-8 overall.

That's pretty bad, considering that he was paid solely to hit 3s.

Regardless, Washington will get the 76ers if they beat the Pacers. That's a lot better than facing the Nets in the first round.

he has always played the same. a better argument is for his inability or unwillingness to adjust. but granted he has been to the finals and well be it mj, kobe, or anyone outside the dream...you almost always need another hof or crazy talent at that level to win. not many players have made it to the finals and conference finals while have a high useage

Hes not stat padding, hese one of the best rebounders pound for pound, this is just how he tries to play. he dominates everything for better or worse. but on those great nights he looks like an nba superstar has lead to wins. lets not forget they went from brushing the edge of the lottery, turned it up and went to the 8th seed while he was irreplaceable with ungodly stats that led to wins, those wins don't happen to him. but you sort of have to live and die with teh way he is is the frustration.

odd thing is, he used to be a solid ft shooter and had a great pull up. tonight was a bad, terrible game that happens all too often in the playofs. brad stevens is smart and they used a similar gameplan as with the bucks, they closed the paint. the wiards dont have a great shooting team, a team in general. they've probably outperformed the last coupe months after underperforming the irst part of the season.

now its onto a hobbled pacers who they beat with levert. but once again, we dont know what wizards will show up, pacers have players who step up in TJ, maclolm, and sabonis and tonight they had mdermott go on fire.

There was a few O-fers and 1-fers in the Box Score
Which Is what I think pissed Westbrook off
You cannot get an assist when the other players just bricking

i didn't watch washington at the end of the season, but whatever westbrook was doing to put up 20/20 triple doubles and such was definitely not what he did tonight. looked like he lost the nerve to just go all out at the basket (to get layups or assists) once it was a real game that counted. he would have had 25/17/14 against boston if that was a regular season game. if they lose to indy that will be 4 straight really bad playoffs.

Yeah, Pacers are one of those teams you have to grind against. They always play hard so...I could see Wiz losing to them because yep, Russ will either play great or he'll play terribly, it's hard for him to stay in the middle.

Wizards area a team i can see losing to anyone, perhaps also having those flashy nights where they beat anyone too. Its a frustrating team to watch and you don't know what you'll get.

Pacers were running up the young and inexperienced hornets the whole game with high pressure d and moving the ball forward. Looked like a pick up game. Yep, its a toss up as we don't know which wizards will show up. Exciting at least, but hopefully the games are at least close unlike tonight

once again with defense designed against Westbrook his team can't do ****... I was believer of him once small ball was introduced last year but LeBron took me down on Earth. Boston did basically same **** and once again he can't do anything on O while making lapses on D.
