All of the injuries to superstars have ruined a lot of these games to the point where I'm mostly like...eh, call me when the playoffs start.
There are times where Paul George looks like the best player in the NBA. Too bad he only has these games like, once every 40 games.
Why do they keep bringing up 'the 2nd round' as if PHX and LAC will just stomp their 1st round opponents? It's really strange.
Refs: "The coaches' challenge has been ruled successful." LAC: "WOOHOO!" Refs: "The foul wasn't on Morris...it was actually on Batum!" LAC: "wtf?"
This was from yesterday's game thread, but it's relevant. Today's game against LAC is why PHX still has a ways to go before people "put respekt on their name." By the numbers, Phoenix had a really solid game, but they were ice cold from 3. Meanwhile, PG and Kawhi absolutely did what they needed to do. This isn't to say it's LAC over PHX all day every day, but I hope Phoenix improves from this game.
