Pelicans might get the 8th seed. Only a short time ago, OKC had a 3 game lead over the 9th seed. After tonight, that dwindles to 0.5 game.
New Orleans does have a brutal schedule down the stretch though. After tonight at Sactown, these are their games: @POR GS @MEM PHX @HOU @MIN SA Aside from the home game against Phoenix and the game at Minnesota, they could lose every one of those. Meanwhile, here are OKC's remaining games: HOU SA SAC @IND POR @MIN 3 of their 4 home games are tough, and at Indiana is no picnic. But that's still an easier schedule than the Pelicans.
We will not be swept. However, I do not want them too in the 1st round. They have the playoff experience, we have the MVP. This is their 18th straight year appearing in the playoffs. With the 30 points win over the Nuggets, the Spurs have 16 seasons in a row of 50 wins. They are red hot, having won 16 of their last 19 games.
We're still 2nd, statistically we have won .535 vs. .533 of our division games. Win vs. Dallas was huge, vs. Spurs will be even bigger!!
I really like Jordan clarkson; guy plays with no fear and he's had a couple of double doubles as well this season
Well, the Rockets shouldn't have been expecting much help from these games tonight anyway, and they got none. The Lakers have flipped the switch from losing to tanking. A bunch of other teams also don't care much for winning these late season games.
Westbrook is embarrassing to watch, this guy shouldn't be near any MVP discussion. So selfish and looking to paddle his stats, it also shows in OKC's record that their Winzling percentage with him taking 20+ shots is abysmal. Guys like him and Kobe just don't get how you win as a team and have to involve everyone. You should revise your approach to the game when you're nearly leading the league in ppg but do so on 40% fg and 29% 3pts. This guy is dragging his team down so much efficiency-wise but people talk about him being MVP and best PG in the game, it's pathetic and shows these guys can't look beyond points, assists and rebounds.
