For real? Damn, did they not see how stacked the West was at the beginning of the year? Remember, no one thought OKC would be beset by so many injuries, and Phoenix looked like they were gonna be at least as good as last year. That's amazing they actually expected the playoffs.
To be fair the Pelicans were stacked with talent even before the trades. I look at their Roster now and they look like a tough out.
I agree. Dallas will not be a cakewalk. It could even go 6 or 7 if the Rockets don't play well. That being said. They are the better matchup. Portland has Aldridge and Lilliard who could each take over a game and beat us(don't we all know?). Dallas really doesn't have anyone that good. Dirk is old. Monta is streaky, but not a good enough shooter to carry the team over a 7-game series. Parsons is a solid role player, but that's all he is(and he's got an injured knee right now). Rondo can't shoot. And the rest of the team is made of average or mediocre bench guys.
They've been making trades and signings that pushed this to happen. Signing Anderson to 27M/3 year deal. Signing Evans to a 44M/4 year contract. Trading the 4th overall pick for Holliday. Trading 2015 NBA pick for Asik. Plus having the best young talent in the NBA in Davis. They really did have no excuses.
C'mon Indiana! 1. Want the Spurs to stay fifth 2. Nobody wants to see Brooklyn as the 8th seed. Hawks/Pacers is a seller
I think if the Grizzlies win they play the Blazers and the Spurs play the Clippers. I guess I'd prefer the Grizzlies to lose so the Spurs would beat the Blazers and knock the Warriors out in the 2nd round. Obviously the Grizzlies are going to win.
F**** YEAH! Pels win, bumping Spurs out of 2nd seed. Congrats Pels for making the playoffs! Most of all, good job Rockets for winning the division! Harden, MVP! I think this is the 1st time that all teams in a division made the playoffs.
I'd like that too, but I also wouldn't mind the Spurs losing in the first round to LA. How epic would that be to see those cocky a-holes go from a 2-game sweep of the Rockets and being on the cusp of the division and 2nd seed to losing in the first round as the 6th seed?
Sixers are really trying to tank lol http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ing-duties-for-76ers-in-regular-season-finale
