This is what Dwight is signing on to- receiving entry passes from Steve Blake and Jodie Meeks.

I'm genuinely amazed that Parker hasn't scored.

1 point game after 1. I'm liking the ball movement and effort, and the fact that D'antoni is throwing lots of different guys out there to keep the pace up and confuse the defense. Imagine if the Lakers had Nash!

Tie game. The Lakers are holding strong with the most efficient offense in the league. Because everyone feels like the are contributing, they are working hard on both ends of the floor. If Nash were playing, they'd be running away with this this as their "Achilles heel" is sloppy passing.

That's cause the Lakers are clamping down on the D. You play hard on D when you get the ball on O.

They don't even need Nash, they have Blake. Yes, Steve Blake.

Not really the Spurs have blown at least 6 or 7 wide open layups in this game

It's cumulative. Their bigs are worn out because Pau and Dwight are so active on both ends.

Blake is a good player. He just doesn't normally get shots. Hard to get in rhythm when you don't get enough attempts.

Tie game at the half between two too teams. Surprisingly fair officiating (although I see Joey is available should he be needed down the stretch) in this defensive battle. The Lakers are actually fun to watch with the unsung heroes and full effort.

I actually find it hilarious that Joey of all people is calling the game. I mean they make it way too easy for fans to get ideas that they are fixing games.
