You do realize Kobe didn't want to come out? It was all on himself.

It's completely up to San Antonio. They're good enough to beat the Lakers, even with the refs working against them. The Rockets will get the same treatment as GSW.

I'm almost positive Minnesota is going to beat Utah in a few days. Stern won't leave it up to Memphis game.

Wow man, Kobe is a warrior on the court. He played on that thing for a while and just tried to push through it if true.

That can not happen...i watched the entire second half of this game...and there was a scare earlier...and as much as Kobe was a warrior throughout the game...his achilles injury was a non contact injury(still whistled a foul)...Kobe is actually hurt and could be his season...

Thoughts and Prayers to Kobe Bryant.

This is way worse than that Louisville Kid's injury.

Don't like the Lakers and have never loved Kobe but I have mad respect for him. If he has torn ACL that will be a shame. He was playing way too much and him getting an injury was pretty predictable. A torn ACL could end his career though. Would hate to see him go out like that.

a ruptured achilles is a 12 month injury, that could be the end of his career, and might just keep dwight in LA.

I dont know if Dwight stays if the Lakers dont make the playoffs...

Oh and btw...if Kobe is out any length of time(bc an achilles injury is a career threatening one) there may be a chance he is amnestied? or that the Lakers get insurance on Kobe similar to what the Rockets were able to get for Yao...
