The only insecure troll here is you, always taking shots at CP3 and the Clippers because they kick the Rockets into the ground every single time they meet. I mean, geez, I even thought you guys would take the last game but you couldn't even come through on your own floor.

I honestly am salivating at the thought of getting GSW, but seeing their schedule I fear that it's going to be Dallas, Phoenix, or god forbid Memphis again. GSW can get hot for a game or two and has beaten the Clippers that way, but this won't work in a series with gameplanning. Lee being out doesn't help them but it wouldn't make a difference. The Clippers are just the far superior team and if you can't see that, you simply don't understand basketball (which I already assumed to be the case since you don't think Harden flops lol).

I leave the board every summer when basketball season is over. I return in November, although if you want to make this bet I will gladly not return should the Clippers lose to GSW, which will never happen. I know you don't have the balls to backup your trash talk though.

Also, "you're" is the word you are looking for you illiterate doofus.

Its always nice to see people becoming grammar nazis when they are in meltdown mode. Being mentally weak must be a trait you inherited from your team.

Also, it's pretty funny how you try and trash the rockets, yet continue to post your drivel on our site. You can understand why I wouldn't waste my time betting with a known troll that only comes here when he wants to cry about how much he thinks Kobe wronged his team 90% of the time. I know the Lakers still steal your spotlight, but you don't have to take it out on us.

I'm already picturing you glued to the TV watching the Clippers first round series and just PRAYING the other team can take the Clipps out, investing so much energy that you could use to root, root, root for your Rockets (who will need a hell of a lot more help than the Clippers). Try not to be too disappointed by the outcome, okay?

Meanwhile, contrary to what you might think, I will be rooting for the Rockets because even though you only have maybe a 5% chance to take out the Spurs in round 2, it's better than the alternatives.

As for your little psychoanalysis of my motivation, I'm glad to see I've attracted such a following. I don't recall a single one of your 12,481 posts outside of this thread, so maybe you should try to post something more memorable sometime.

I would definitely rather play the Clippers than the Thunder.

What the hell happened here? Neither the Rockets nor Clippers played and there's a crap throwing battle.

Meh, still don't see the Clippers beating both the Spurs and Thunder. Could see the Clips having some problems in the first round. They're not going to get as many easy baskets and I don't trust their wings at all.

I commented that I'd like to see the Clippers play GSW because I think GSW is fool's gold (as evidenced by their performance tonight), and the Clipper hater here thought I was being "insecure". Obviously he's venting his own internal animosity towards the Clippers, which, as a Rockets fan, I guess is fair given the recent one-sided history between the two teams.

Sorry to derail. Still would like to see GSW so I hope they don't lose too many more.

Guess relax, it is a nice family forum:grin:

I agree with you that GS is overrated, they were never really good, last year they were lucky Denver was injured. But I never had the feeling they were a better team than the Rockets. They are just a tier below the rockets. I was getting sick with all the love they were getting during the summer. I would love for them to not make the play-offs.

Why would you not want to play the Suns? I understand you do not fear GS, and I also understand you do not want Memphis, but why would you not want the Suns, they have no experience, and I do not think they match up well with you guys. I do not see the Clippers lose to them (6 games max).

I have to respect the Clippers, they are the team I do not want to play the most. I really cannot stand many of the players (I really dislike Paul), but you do have to respect them. I am looking forward to the Clippers Thunder matchup. It is going to be an amazing series.

Whatever helps you sleep at night bud.

To answer your question though, over 95% of basketball posts are made about a certain team in a certain subforum. If you want to flatter yourself as being the NBA Dish idiot, more power to you. My advice? Being a clipper fan is a novelty of its own, you don't have to go that far.

Something we both can agree on. Since I played my part in it too, I'll be the first to drop it.

On paper the Suns look like a great matchup but that team is extremely well-coached and really something to watch when it gets going. I've seen firsthand what Bledsoe can do in the playoffs (when Vinny Del Numbskull actually played him) and Dragic is a beast. Keep in mind that Bledsoe has missed a lot of the season and now is finally gelling back into form. If the Suns get to the 7 seed they are my darkhorse to take out the Thunder (and I also think they'll win 2 games from the Spurs).

Dallas is another team I don't really want to see. The Clippers have had to comeback in every single game against them. Dirk is obviously a seasoned superstar and Carlisle is a great coach. I think the Clippers could beat Dallas, but it would probably go 7 games.

Look man, it's obvious you hate the Clippers because they keep beating your ass. I get it. It's probably why I hated the Lakers. It happens. But I'm just a fan-- don't take it out on me.

One thing I don't like is the hypocrisy regarding flopping. Fine to call Chris Paul a flopper, because he flops a bunch. But to deny that your superstar Harden doesn't do the same thing (and IMO much worse since so much of his offense is generated through "selling contact" through head-jerking and such aka flopping) is just disingenuous.

Disagree that Harden is worse, yes Harden flops, but Harden if he isn't shooting FTs is simply finishing layups.

Some dude on reddit was telling me how pissed he was at Harden because he drives with his arms extended, resulting in people hacking his arms etc. Well if he isn't getting hacked, he's just finishing at the rim.

Clippy, I respect you as a poster. I know you are also smart enough to understand that fans can take a lot more of players who play for their team. Steve Adams, Tyler Hansborough are players you hate when they play against your team and love when they play for your team. You do the same with Clipper players (or not?).

I dislike the way Harden sometimes flops, however there are different levels of flopping.

1: The way Harden Initiates contact in order to get a foul. or his extending his arms, so that opponent try to go for the steal and make a foul.
I have no problem with this. It is just playing aggressive.

    2: Exaggerating contact.
I do not like this. Unfortunately it is sometimes necessary otherwise the refs do not make the call. However there should be a real foul. This is something Harden does a lot.

3: Pretending something happens when in fact it did not happen:
: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/h7T3M2Mtr_0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I know Cousins indeed did step on his foot, but before that Paul pretends like someone hits him in the head.

This is video filled with these type of plays:
    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/GKh8Zq6zhRc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

It is similar to post players who just fall down when somebody is posting up. I know some rockets have done this in the past and I hated it when it happened.

These are the type of flops that i cannot stand, it doesn’t matter if a Rockets player does it or not it is ridiculous and people should be suspended for doing this.

In my experience Paul does this last group more often than Harden.
But like i said the times when Harden does do these plays I'm also upset.

I guess Charles forgot Beverly is coming back soon and he's in Lillard's head. He also must have missed how Bev made the Warriors completely change their offense in the 4th quarter because of how he was manhandling Curry.

If Bev doesn't play, Rockets are in serious trouble against either team.
