Pop tanking 4q helps rox bc it puts dubs in contention for 1 seed longer. They don’t have depth like rox, so all in all, he’s helping the rox.

I’d trade a dubs win for KD’s 39 minutes all day.

"Durant was snake" is the official slogan for this era of the NBA.

Disclaimer: I watched only the first half of the game, and the highlights afterwards.

I have never seen so much "discussion" (read: people clowning on a Warriors opponent) for a non-Rockets game.

So many people here clowning on the Spurs, for some reason. You guys are acting like the Spurs are supposed to beat the Warriors, at this point. SA is 3-7 in their last 10 games (including this one, against GS). The three wins? PHX, CLE and MEM. And Cleveland sucks.

Some posters wanted Tony, Rudy and Manu in the game? Tony and Manu haven't been their consistently great selves all season. Rudy might have made a difference, but it's tough to tell.

I'm not trying to defend the Spurs, or anything, but the criticisms some of you guys have, are ridiculous. Pop and his current team of LMA, super old vets and a bunch of no-name kids had the lead against the defending champs, and ended up losing the game...and you guys are questioning how good of a coach Pop is? Not this season, but in seasons past? Almost any other coach would have been blown out, with the Spurs roster. The fact that SA had the lead until Durant did Durant things, is a testament to Pop's coaching, rather than an indictment against.

If Manu and Tony were in there, and the Spurs lost? Guarantee the responses would have been "man, why did Pop play those old ass dudes? The youth of the Spurs would have done better."

But the Warriors would've been more exhausted at Portland on the B2B. This one really hurt. I figured going in that the Warriors would win anyway, but it would've been a nice gift to the Rockets had the Spurs held on and won.
