    I don’t understand why there fans refuse to criticize and blame Westbrook.

    I did the @DreamShook and checked their reddit and it’s just all support.

    I mean I always defended harden and backed him but I understood why fans ragged harden. I vehemently disagreed but we at least had a decent section of the fandom question and attack harden.

    It seems they just don’t realize the problem is Russ or they refuse to scold him or debate if it’s his fault

    Not yet. They still have a game lead over MINN. Let's hope New Orleans beats them next and then the slide towards 7th can become a reality.

    Some fans just defend players regardless. You see the same with Harden. He can do no wrong. Harden is 5 of his last 34 from behind the arc, but the defenders will make excuses such as tired legs, an ankle strain, or a sore wrist for the poor shooting.

    Yup, I've never understood that. If a player plays poorly, just say he played poorly. It's not that big a deal. If a player makes the team find out via ESPN that they had season ending surgery without consulting with team doctors, it's okay to criticize them for it.

    The hero worship of players has always seemed odd to me.
