kings need a new coach. i think at least half of clutchfans can make a better play than having cousins shoot a ****in 3 lol "alrite felles, 5 seconds left, we're down by 3, so cousins...YOU'RE GONNA NAIL A THREE IN THEIR FACES!"
That was 100% a foul on Dwight, if you could give Kobe the foul call you can do the same for Cousins. Cousins didn't get the call, got frustrated and knowing his personality he launched another 3. I highly doubt he would try something like that if the refs had actually called a foul.
There's no possible way you can tell that from the tv and going by the way the refs called the last few plays, I have my doubts on their judgement. Go back to the kid's table, stan.
Hopefully the Kings fire Keith Smart in the off-season. It's a joke that he's an head coach in the NBA.
That was 100% a foul. This is why NBA refs have such a bad reputation. I didn't see a foul on the Kobe shot either, although he did miss it by a lot and whined even more than usual so who knows. The Laker broadcast conveniently didn't replay it.
Well, winning this game would effectively only hurt the Kings long term so maybe he's just doing his job
The Kings do seem to have an awful lot of talent. They need a coach who can manage egos. Imagine if PJax coached them (although they'd have to move as Jackson is def. not welcome in "cowtown").
Shooting a 3 pointer was dumb, but the initial pump fake to draw contact wasn't. That was a foul that should have been called. Cousins is a 74% free throw shooter, he could hit 2 free throws in that scenario for a quick 2, and hope their defense could create a turnover and hope the Lakers miss a free throw. In any case, regardless of whether what Cousins did was dumb or not, that was a foul. Asik could shoot a 3 pointer, and I will criticize him for doing it. But I would be even more upset if Asik was blatantly fouled and it wasn't called.
It's the lack of consistency that's the real problem with the league and what causes these conspiracy theories to arise. I mean, in this game, Kobe gets a critical call where (I guess?) he got hit on the hands going up. But that was the same situation Rubio was in in the last game, and no call there. Then Cousins clearly draws a foul that Kobe and others get 10/10 times and it's a non-call because....? It's either crooked or straight up incompetence. Either way, the NBA needs to address this beyond issuing worthless apologies the day after.
So, the Pacers are now 37-16 since their poor start to the season. Or in other words, since Paul George broke out. That's .700 pace. If Paul George started the year at his current level, they might be the 4th seed in the league right now.
