Statistics is about probabilities. Of course there are the Jokices of the world - but you have a better shot at getting a star the higher you pick. Take a look at the top 75 player of all time - take their average draft position. It would probably be pretty high… And Miami is kinda imploding right now - and they got several of their best players through FA not draft. So I don’t get your point.
