    Since neither Atlanta or New York want (or deserve) the 8th seed, just give the 9th seed of the West to the 8th seed of the East. ;)

    Dallas, Phoenix, Memphis, or Golden State is gonna miss out.

    Kind of a pointless question to ask because there was never any doubt that they would match.

    Have to hand it to Memphis, though. They're looking pretty great lately.

    Uh who are we supposed to root for? If Memphis wins, then there's a chance they can get the 6th seed and knock the Clippers out. However, there's also the danger they get the 5th seed and knock us out.

    And of course as I say the Grizzlies look great, they begin their choke.

    I wanted Memphis to win. IMO that would have given them the best chance at the 5 seed.

    I am not really scared that Memphis can beat the Clippers in round 1, but they will beat them up in a long series and that will make it very hard to win round 2 (assuming it is OKC.. if it is the Spurs the Clipps have no chance anyway, that team is a ****** machine). Ideally Clipps get GS or Portland.
