i agree i think memphis is the biggest threat...really don't see anyone else getting more than 2 games against them
Potentially. I just don't think Memphis has the firepower to hang with them for an entire series, though. They'd present problems and steal some games, but 4 out of 7 seems just completely unlikely.
I thought it would be OKC, but they are are now so screwed up, I agree. They have talent running out of their ears and the best young coach in the league.
Golden State won't win the title, they will crumble in the Finals. The Cavs will pump them if they meet unfortunately, LeBron will guard Curry and shut him down. Playoffs a lot different than the regular season
That's what everyone said about Dallas when they were 67-15. And a lot said that about Seattle when they won 64 games. In the playoffs, anything can happen.
What makes the GSW most likely to win the title this year...DEPTH...they just have too much talent. It is a fact that they have consistent scoring with each 5 players that play during any given time. There is zero drop off in consistency offensively. Then they have a moment in each game where they just go nuts with a barage from Curry and Thompson... There are 2 key players that just cant afford to get hurt for Warriors: Bogut or Curry... Saving grace for the future: 1. GSW is going to get nailed for the luxury tax (they have 8 players tied to approx 77.5 million next season) 2. Going to be very hard to trade off their expiring contracts in Lee or Iguodala (since the cap level is set to massively expand in the summer of 2016, no one really will need expirings) 3. Lacob, their owner, has publicy stated that they will try bringing back Green, even facing paying the luxury tax...but it just may not be financially feesible. They will most likely lose him via free agency.
poor Dragic has had 5 gamewinning buzzerbeaters from the opposing team get splashed in his face this season
Don't worry, the playoffs are a different beast. Warriors do have depth, but it really doesn't come down to that some times. If it did, the Heat would have never won any titles. They were 3 superstar players and a bunch of old ring chasing dudes. Playoffs are just...different. Not "More Physical" or whatever mess...it's just different. Guys who you never expect to become heroes do (Danny Green) and guys you expect to play well don't (Harden) and things get real. When the Warriors are beating you up and splashing 3s in your face on a Tuesday night with some key players out, it's easy for a team to just go into "Alright F it, we'll get the next one." there is not that mentality in the playoffs. It's do or die all the time. Teams have rested for every game, studied for every game...it changes a lot. I have no idea whose coming out of the west but the Warriors are going to go through hell to get to the finals. As is any Western team. They aren't going to saw through teams like this.
