Pacers are great on defense, a lot of energy but offensively they are terrible. Give me Rockets offense and Pacers defense and you have championship

Mahinmi just had the block of the night for sure!

Paul George 1-8 yet he couldn't miss when he played against us. Sigh.

Refs getting started early tonight... 11-5 foul advantage for LA, and 10-1 FT advantage.

Pacers D goes from good to lockdown with Hibbert. i hope the voters are wise enough to award it with all-defense team selection this year.

And the trend of the Lakers playing better without Kobe continues. How much of a sample do we need for people to start seeing the truth, that whenever you have multiple offensive threats, having one guy monopolize the ball just isn't smart basketball?

Read a stat from someone earlier in the week, with the current winning streak LA has a huge +/- advantage with Kobe on the bench and a tiny +/- with him playing. I suppose I could track down that one webpage durvasa linked a few months ago...

other news, good to see that perry jones finally picked up some meaningful minutes tonight. (end of 1st/start of 2nd) But Fisher still somehow has 8 minutes in the game.

Do you see how much happier the Lakers are knowing that they get to be a key part of the offense? That leads to greater defensive effort and just better basketball. It's not rocket science. This team would be fighting for the Pacific if Kobe had been amnestied.

Time to accept the fact that the lakers are a pretty good team.

Lakers 50% on 3s, 30+ ft attemps, Steve Blake + Jamison combined for 35 points.

After Hibbert got into foul trouble in the first 5 minutes, defense just never got good for more than a few possessions in a row.

I didn't watch that game, but a 30 to 9 free throw disparity on another team's court?

If you only listened to Clutchfans....you'd think the Lakers have never won a game without the refs giving it to them...

Not really much of a bias officiating. The typical bad calls here and there for both sides but besides that it was just Pacers missing a lot of easy and open looks.

Memphis-Denver is an interesting test case for Memphis.

the denver game is going to be tough for memphis to win. Not only are they on the road but they are playing in the high altitude of denver against a team that can throw 10 guys at you to wear you down and the grizzlies, since the allstar break have picked up the pace in terms of games played.

i'll be shocked if the grizzlies can pull this one out. It all comes down to how much d the grizzlies can muster up.
