If the 76ers win this game they'll be in in 2nd place, with 16 games to play. 41-25 over the Heat's 42-26. If Im a Sixer fan I rather lose some games with Harden/Embiid than have to face the Nets in the 1st round. I don't want that KD heat lol.
Nets and Lakers both need their aging stars to score 50 points just to beat average teams.... does not bode well for their chances this year.
Three players had over ten minutes and zero points...blueprint is there to just swarm Embiid and Harden, every team will copy that now. Technically they're not fully healthy because D. Green is out, which would make a difference some games when he's not on a cold streak. But yea, not good.
He's quit and I don't think him and Westbrook are getting along. Offensively he's pretty much full stat pad mode and defensively....well you see it there. Probably just saving his body at this point. He knows they have no shot. Wouldn't be surprised if he would rather miss the playoffs altogether.
Westbrook is completely washed up but the Lakers problems go beyond him. They would still be a trash team without him. I honestly think they decided to keep him rather than trade for Wall because they want to him to continue to be their scapegoat until the season is over. He's catching about 80% of the flack for their losses while Lebron and ownership are ducking and weaving the criticism. They know this season is a lost cause.
Cade is a superstar in the making. It's crazy how he doesnt over-dribble and makes the unselfish pass everytime. Cade Cunningham 23 pts 9 rebs 10 asts vs Clippers 21/22 season - YouTube
