Would rather be the 2 seed than the 1 seed...memphis and phx will both be a tough out... Dallas and gsw, not so much.
i'd expect memphis to finish 6th, the gap is so close and portland is in freefall. They might not be able to get past GSW though.
You can always call the timeout if nothing transpires, but to actually waste it seems pointless, it's like trying to bait a team into an offside at 4th down before going for the fg.
Well, they'd be in a position to inbound the ball from near the endline with only 2s to get it across. So it would be tempting to try to throw it into the frontcourt under time pressure, risking a turnover. Basically no matter what, it wouldbe a tough risky play, so may as well make it easier and just burn the timeout.
