well blake is scared of asik so its all good breh. all you have to do is put a physical beast on him *insert zbo pic* and all of his fancy post moves come up small
I mean...the Suns are awful at power forward defense, and we were able to limit Griffin last time. I'd definitely rather avoid the Clippers if possible though. They're our worst matchup. The Spurs could definitely take them down though.
I was telling people all year long that the Clippers are immensely improved this year even though they aren't really on pace for more wins or a higher seed. And although Blake is a lot better, he's not the reason. It's almost all due to having a decent (vs horrible) coach, and that shows up most when rotation players are injured. Good coaches instill a system so that when a guy goes down, another can fill the role. Look at what Pop has done for so many years, or Hornacek this year. Compare that to Vinny or Jackson who are very player reliant. It's a huge difference.
i dont really get what is going on in indiana, there's so many people this year they've gotten rid of to "strengthen their bench" that are some of the best bench players in the nba this year, augustin, green, now granger.
Maybe granger felt he was being underutilized and appreciated by a team he had done so much for? I dunno though, good point
im annoyed the away broadcast isnt working, if i have to listen to this ****er say bingo one more time
I don't love Doc, though I think he improved a lot over the years. Agree that Vinny was terrible though. Clippers are a force...would look forward to another Memphis brawlfest playoff matchup.
I think the Clippers improved when and mostly because Blake Griffin improved-- both in terms of having skills and in terms of actually using them. Griffin was (somewhat unfairly, I think) thought to have stagnated the last couple seasons because he was playing a smaller role with Chris Paul around and his basic stats didn't jump up. But he has definitely taken the reigns and played at an elite (top 5 or 6 in the entire NBA?) level especially during CP's absence.
Dj actually has improved a lot more than Blake. Blake just got more minutes and touches; dj changed his whole approach thanks to doc.
