Haha if you think so! ******* one thing I am mad about is that I was so close to putting money on the Utah ML which was +450. Very high for a home team.
Well he's around a below average - average defender. Yeah there are nights he's horrible but you can say that for a lot of guys. There are nights where every Rockets guard are playing horrible defensively too, but Harden is the scapegoat when it comes to defense so he takes most of the blame. As for the other myth, it's not that his game is centered around that...it's that he attacks the lane A lot and thus gets calls for being a agressive player that takes a lot of contact. I doubt any all-star player would be shutdown during playground rules. James actually has a lot of and1s which contradicts the entire myth, it proves that he goes to the rim with the aim to score and he's pretty strong (arguably has to be the strongest SG in the NBA) so it's not surprising. On the strength note, he's a great post defender. Even sometimes defends against forwards in the post and shuts them down.
Heat sub-500 losses: 76ers Nets Celtics Pistons Bulls Kings Knicks Nets Wizards Jazz That's 10 out of 14 losses, and 11 if you include the Hawks (1 game over 500). So dumb. If you blind-bet the moneyline of every sub-500 team the Heat play, it will be super +EV.
What a line - 34 points, 10 assists, 2 boards, 2 steals, 3 turnovers 10 - 13 from the field, 6-7 from 3, 8 - 10 from the Line Year of the Dragon. Wow
Good post. I don't have much to add here. Harden has looked bad defensively to me but that is in a very small sample size. I feel like he gets a lot of cheap touch fouls too (second only to Durant), but, again, sample size.
When you factor in their coaches, even without Bledsoe it's too close to call. Geez imagine if Hornacek coached the Warriors... they'd be contenders.
Well, the good news for you is that the Heat won't have to play those guys when it really counts. Their record against elite teams is what has me believing that they will three-peat even though by conventional standards most are counting them out this year.
I know he was getting his meniscus removed so he could come back towards the end of the year. At least that's what I remember hearing off of the top of my head.
