I am officially more concerned by the Thunder than I am the Warriors. The Warriors struggle against the Thunder, and when George and Russ have it going, the team is almost impossible to guard. That said, Melo is the odd man out. I'm not sure this team isnt better with him out. Abrines, Adams, Grant, etc. all play as supporting players. Melo does too, but he also takes 10-20 shots a game, typically at a low percentage. They wouldnt do it, but this team would benefit from trading Melo and strengthening other pieces of their roster.
Remember when Clint said we was better n most on here was like he shouldn't have said that. I liked it then. U have to not let them have a mental edge. Alot of team aren't afraid of the warriors anymore.
Who didn't we have when we played OKC? I forgot. I hate they bring that up that they beat us when we didn't have one of three most important players
Adams and Capela are completely different. It's Adams strength, size, athleticism combination that gives Golden State trouble. Capela is more athletic but can't bully the Warriors bigs like Adams can.
I don't know if it does much for their rotations because they can't win this way every night. I'm also not sure if this leads to bigger and better things for them.
I agree they are completely different, im just saying they are both matchup advantages vs the warriors. The warriors weakness is their 5 spot.
I always pencil him in playing trash against the rockets. Honestly I hate to give the warriors any advice, but their problem is none of those guys are paint attackers. For many years I never really liked Durant . I know it's crazy n might be considered a hot take but I always like guys get attacked the basket that's why I always like LeBron even though he didn't have a good shot. Because I think he's on it puts always more stress on the team when you got I got acting like Westbrook but the only reason I don't like Westbrook is because he getting these little things when he's uncontrollable if he just starts lunch in threes that he's not good at. Durant is just a jump shooter so is klay, so is curry. They can attack but it's just not in there blood. My whole thing is hey if u got a shot n u on ok. But that doesn't make the defense stress.
Capela doesn't have the same advantage over Draymond and Durant that Adams does. Kerr isn't stubborn enough to play Zaza as much in meaningful playoff games.
Klay Thompson got selected OVER Paul George initially in the all star game. How was that even possible
