I looked it up. It was indeed a bad whistle. The problem is that you hear a soft whistle when Griffin catches the lob. I think that whistle was the reason they cancelled the play. You can see the Denver player giving up on the play (but that could also be because he couldn’t catch Griffin anymore). I can sort of understand why they cancelled the field goal, although I think it is bad call. The other play Clipsnation complain about was the late call on Griffins block/charge. I actually thought it was not as late as they said on the side, but I can understand how it feels like an eternity if it happens to your favourite team.
Pelicans allowed an 18 point swing in 5 minutes.. smh LAC and POR losing made it all better. Always good to have teams ahead of us lose some "easy" games.
