Harden with an incredible floor game that first half

 

The Nets defense looks really good. And lol......I dont know how many years its gonna take teams to realize that YOU DONT POST UP HARDEN.

.....unless you are Embid or Jokic.

 

He looks like the best player on the floor honestly.

 

Harden dominated the game with defense and passing, lol.

 

Would have been nice to get a young player with star potential or an actual lottery pick for the best player in a game with five all-stars.

 

And this is a dude who can score whenever he wants.

 

The record against 500 teams and the defensive rating against 500 teams and how they are playing tonight tells me all I need to know about the Nets come playoff time. They are going to strap down and play defense and at least have an average d

 

Watching him play basketball is a masterpiece people really don't appreciate how great he is

The pace is much slower than usual for a nets game. That might not be a bad thing for the Nets.

Clippers started the game much better than they finished the half. Kawhi had his way early and they were getting wide open threes and layups, but then settled for postups for morris and ibaka.

Kawhi missed some midranges and played for the foul calls instead of scoring.

Nets second unit led by Harden had much better passing. Starting unit had at least 4 lazy turnovers. Brown, tlc and jordan were the difference in defensive effort.

For nets fans I'd worry about the defense of the starting 5 and rebounding. Also clippers shot terribly aside from the first few minutes... I'd expect them to be over 50% instead of 44% in the second half

For clippers I'd worried about nets 3 point shooting heating up. They were only 4-15. Green and Harris missed a couple wide open ones and the big three were only 1-5 with Durant not having an attempt.

 

Irving blocks pg and before that forces him into a fadeaway airball. Irving the pg stopper!

But seriously, no clue why pg fades away after getting irving into the paint

 

Kyrie really shows his worth against these elite defenses

 

He takes some really crazy dumb shots where you ask what the **** you were thinking but then he makes some pretty incredible shots and layups to lol. If he Hardens offensive IQ man..
