Not starting DJ was a terrible choice. Just like not having him in the final minutes of the Washington game.
Nets need about 2 "tap the ball out" specialists if they have no interest in defending... **** it, maximize possessions!
I really don't know what to make of this Brooklyn team. On one hand it seems as if the Clippers aren't even breaking a sweat getting a basket. Just by watching it seems like they'd be comfortably in front. Then you look at the scoreboard and realise Brooklyn are only down 2 possessions and 6 points.
Considering who the Nets have Clips are playing great defense and dictating the pace. I feel like the only way the Nets win games against other elite teams is to make it a shootout. I guess that might have been the thinking and going with Green but it's not working right now.
It might just be a matchup thing v LAC. (It was mentioned as such.) But also, Harden runs the 2nd Unit, so maybe they think it’s best for DJ to do that??
Pretty much everything they've done this season is careless, even their handle has looked half-assed.
Wait are we talking about last year's Rockets? I feel like we have seen this movie before. At least defensively and on the boards. But you are absolutely right, gotta outscore everyone.
Jeff Green starting at center reminds me of last year’s small ball rockets so much. They have much better offensive players though.
Man. If only we had someone on the roster who could throw lobs to Wood like Harden does to [insert any big in the league's name]
I think teams are just going to sell out and let Jeff Green have open threes. It looks like that is whats going to happen.
Joe harris 49% from 3 for the season. Jeff green 46% from 3 for the season. K. Durant 45% from 3 for the season. K. Irving 42% from 3 for the season.
