He did say he was out of the rotation. Obviously before Griffin got hurt. Didn't watch but looks like he'd rather live & die by old man Pierce & Aldrich than Smith.
Thanks J.R. I just watched his minutes and although he started, Doc didn't like the fact that Smoove was crowding the paint for Deandre. To make matters worse, he looked a bit lost on offense and couldn't handle receiving a couple of passes in the paint that should have resulted in easy buckets. The leash did feel a bit short as he boxed out for Deandre and ran the floor. I guess Doc just didn't like what he saw.
